Description: Morale booster for children with Muscular Dystrophy! MDA works in the local community to provide much-needed assistance to the over 800 families who are affected by neuromuscular diseases in Western Washington. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for researching a cure for over 40 types of Muscular Dystrophy. MDA provides help to these families through comprehensive medical care, research, a loan closet of medical equipment, support groups and a summer camp program for children.
